Part IV of V: The Diplomat

Hi Actor,
Last week we covered the second archetype, The Soldier. This week we will be having a looksy at the final archetype. The Diplomat. The Diplomat brings in the actual work for the actor. If you haven't read at least the first post of this series I recommend quickly checking that out HERE before proceeding so you understand whats going on.
He/she navigates the intricate web of the business. The Diplomat's job is to connect to others in the industry, share work to audiences and build upon opportunities by networking. He/ she stays up to date with industry news and trends and knows the world of show bizz inside and out. They know production companies/ directors/ writers of the local industry and have an understanding of many key international players. This Archetype uses the effective weapon of connection in this fast pace world.
Below are some of the Books, Reminders, Skills, Considerations, Platforms, Focuses that I would place in this archetype, This is just to give you an idea of where to start with it. Create your own though.

Now we have covered the final and probably the most influential acting archetype 'The Diplomat'. Without him/her our work wouldn't be seen. We wouldn't complete a thing because we won't have deadlines. No opportunities would be grasped and we most certainly wouldn't have a career of substance. He/she is all the difference between the amateur and a professional.
So now we've had a look at all 3 archetypes, whats left? NEXT WEEK: We look at The Practice of The Three
