Actor - Film, TV & THEATRE

My name's Lachlan, I'm an Australian Actor.

Where it all started:

The year was 2010. It was the 'Yr 10 Drama Student's End of Semester Play' at St Laurences College. A young, 14yr old me jumped onto the sage adorning a colander on head and an imaginary sword in hand. Charging into battle with a dramatic, self vocalisation of Indiana Johns's 'The Raider's March'!

"Dun, da dun duunn, dun da dun!".

This was my first roll on the stage as Alistair in Morris Gleitzman's 'Two Weeks With the Queen'. A totally improvised action performance followed  - forgetting entirely any existence of my monologue. It didn't matter, when I walked off that stage after "curtain", after all the laughter and applause, I had caught the acting bug and that was that.
I haven't looked back since.

My Training & Work

I studied for two and a half years at a theatrical conservatoire acting training program in Brisbane, then traveled all around the globe to study under some brilliant teachers. The journey took me to Tom McSweeney at The Warehouse Workshop on the Gold Coast, across international waters to Massachusetts, USA for Shakespeare and Company's Actor Training Winter Intensive; flew to the Orkney Islands of Scotland to learn from Kristin Linklater; Lived in Melbourne & studied under Iain Sinclair; to Sydney for the Les Chantery Studio and Finally back home. Even participated in Larry Moss' Masterclass in Brisbane.

I toured educational plays through schools along the east coast of Australia. This was with Brainstorm Productions. 2 years performing to over an estimated 200,000 Students during that time.  I starred as the lead in a Webseries 'Two Weeks' which reached well over 2 million views  on YouTube. I've performed in Short films, Independent Feature Films and Plays. And I feel like I'm just getting started.
